Great great place, so many memories here my favorite restaurant in town always a good vibe and best food doesnt matter what you order. Good playing area for the kids and alot of specials to choose from.

Our 1st visit 26 January 2026 to Hennie’s Fochville with my family from Cape Town,and what a pleasant day it was,very Friendly and helpful staff,food was excellent and Management Tanya even helped us with my uncle in wheel chair to our vehicle with her staff member Zoli (hope I pronounced it right ).You guys really treat your customers with the upmost respect and very helpful in all ways,keep up the excellent service,we will defnintief be back.RegardsRoxy Burgoyne

Food is good, waiters in training are not being helped as they should be. I ordered the Drink special for the competition to win a trip to Zanzibar, no waiter knows about it even when there is a huge sign advertising it. We ordered food for take away, paid for it and never got it.Unhappy with the service at Hennies Fochville. The waiters need more training in my opinion, and also need more information on what specials and competitions are running as they have no clue.

Food and Atmosphere great. 10/10Waiters and Management very friendly and helpful. 10/10Drinks ( coffee, cocktails, beer) a bit slow for quite times. I would understand if it’s slo due to rush hour but both Dinner and Breakfast we had the drinks was very slow and restaurant was quite at both times.
Best waitress ever…. this lady is amazing. Great service, gos the extra mile. Kind to my kinds and speedy service. She should be a manager or have a big raise. She welcomed us, made us feel at home. No matter what, she was always there to help if we needed anything. Even heard it was my mom in law birthday and out of her own go all to come sing. All our drinks had chilled glasses ..wow. food was absolutely amazing…even my kinds could not stop eating. Play area could just be a bit bigger and maybe more for bigger kiddies to do. Otherwise I will just go there for excellent service from Celestine. Best waitress ever. Thank you…
Brilliant experience at Hennie’s, Fochville! Domenick was a great host. Full of humour and patience. The food was top notch with a special shoutout to the spicy jalapeno poppers and the “oepsie” burger – it has a bacon and cherry patty which speaks for itself! Would definitely return for another round! Woof woof!

We arrived for a children’s party although this venue does not have a children’s play area or children party facilities. We ordered drinks and food and the wait for the drinks was quite long. The waiter was visible everywhere but not as attentive as I would expect them to be beings so visible. I ordered the buffalo wings (18 pieces) with a mild hot sauce. It also took a long time to arrive even though the place wasn’t very busy and there were a lot of empty seats. For me, the wings were quite dry as if they were cooked well in advance and then reheated and dipped in the sauce to prepare the meal. The sauce wasn’t a consolation for the dryness of the chicken wings. The chips were also not to my liking, and the sauces that came extra with the wings in small bowls were very runny and didn’t stick well to the chicken when dipping. Overall ok place to eat, but definitely not one of my favorites.
The food was great. Friendly service and pleasant atmosphere. Good variety and weekly specials. A must visit.👌

Fantastic outing for my family would 100% go back ! Puppies corner was so entertaining my baby had loads off fun shout out to Brandon our waiter !! Treated us with great service and such a friendly attitude would recommend him to anyone going to Hennies

The above is still true but on follow-up visits I ordered the 24 Wings. Twice. The first time I only received 16, and when I complained the response was that they worked on weight and the menu said only plus minus 24. The manager added some wings. The next visit I tried again and ordered 24 Wings. Lo and behold, this time only 15 wings were served.Now hear me, approximately 24 can never be 8 or 9 wings less and I feel robbed. So much so that I will seriously rethink to visit Hennie’s again.
