What a shock, our 3rd visit. The first thin the waiter did was to try and sell us merchandise. No introduction, no… asking if we would like to order drinks just a tray full of stuff and a sales pitch. If I wanted to buy stuff I would have gone to a shop. This is no longer a place that I would like to visit.read more
I enjoy coming to hennies. The food is always delicious and they are reasonable with their prices. And it has a… relaxing and safe atmosphere. I feel comfortable to let my child go play and that she is safe.read more

The staff was friendly and helppull. The food was really good 👍 . The play area for the kids is safe and well… kept. Just what you need if you have a busy boy and adults want some time to chill. They made my suns birthday special with an icream and sparkles and song. Thank you Hennies.read more
Was my first time visiting Hennies, food was good, wide variety and friendly service. Our waiter visited our table… often as well as the manager making sure we’re happy and well fed. The atmosphere is great and there’s a play area for kids, the smokers area is well away from the non- smoking area something that asthmatics will appreciate. There’s plenty of room and really nice patio area for sitting outside.read more

Seems like there are no photos of the NEW Hennies that moved to Hartenbos Seafront.So this is my review of newly… opened Hennies.I recently visited Hennies at the Hartenbos Mall Seafront, and it was a fantastic experience! The location is superb, right by the beach, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a meal. I can confidently say that they serve some of the best Hennies in South Africa.The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, with special thanks to Juan _ Mari and Wian for their exceptional service. It’s evident that everyone at the restaurant goes the extra mile to ensure a wonderful dining experience.The restaurant features outdoor seating, which is lovely, and it has a spacious layout with an upstairs area and a play area for kids. I highly recommend Hennies to anyone looking for a great meal in a family-friendly environment!read more
We were scammed by the waiter. She told us that the service fee was no longer given to them as a tip. She said it gets… divided and paid to all staff equally. She said that she wanted more because of this. We went to the supervisor, and she said it was not correct. Apparently, they were striking the previous day due to this. I then asked for the manager and explained that we were scammed by this employee. I demanded my money back witch he dit refund me in full. Look out for her.read more

I would not recommend the “New Hennies Middelburg” to anyone looking for Fast Service and Organised Assitance.1. You… need to go searching for your waiter when you need to order something else as they do not tend to / follow up with costumers timeously.2. THE EXACT SAME PREVIOUS LOCATIONS MENU is still Used and the Cocktails are charged at the SAME PRICE, yet they are now suddenly served in “Kiddies Milkshake Glasses” upon enquiry, we were advised that SOME of the Cocktails are Served in this SMALLER Serving?3. Parking space is a DISASTER! We have been “ENTRAPPED” In the furthest part of the Parking Ground for about 20 Minutes now due to an incompetent Driver who blocked the “Drive Through Passage” and the staff are not very helpfull in locating the Owner of this Vehicle.In a final attempt, we request that the 3rd gate (Furthest to the Right against the White Wall) be unlocked, but they do not have a Key to Open this Gate.So my worst fear would be that you’re kinda STUCK IN CASE OF A PERSONAL OR EVEN MEDICAL EMERGENCY when you land yourself in the unfortunate situation of being Parked in with absolutely No one on the Staff / Management Team to assist.In the end, we ourselves requested another customers assistance to move their vehicle out of the way in order for us to eventually get out.@ Hennies Middelburg MP, you guys have somehow completely changed the atmosphere and experience we all so loved into something somewhat unpleasant…read more
