So we booked a table at Hennies Krugersdorp for 2.00 on the 24th May 2026. Our waiter MJ was accommodating with the… split bills as we were 4 different families each with our own bills. He really tried his upmost to please his patrons but the management and kitchen staff and fellow waiters really let him down. Our food was coming out in drips and drabs. By the time the second round of food came out the first round had already finished theirs. And when enquiring from another waiter where MJ is and where our food was all we got was a very bad attitude. And on approaching the management to complain their attitude was also lacking empathy or urgency. And the steak that was ordered as medium came out well done. And the fact that they ran out of castle light to fulfill a bucket order was also a surprise. They however offered two draughts to replace it but after all the wheels falling off we opted to out. Needless to say the whole experience has left us with a very disappointing outing. From being keen patrons to very disappointing patrons who will not be in a hurry to visit there again.read more

The pizzas were like eating cardboard, very sad. The waitress “Brigette” excellent service and such a pleasure to have… serving us. The Brandy’s great 👍 the Cocktail “Hennies Sunset”, I tasted from someone Who was sitting with me, her’s was amazing and I watched the barman “Rei” make it as I wanted to see how it was made, WOW, AMAZING. But, then I decided to order one, and saw someone else making it, open mind, tasted it, NO NO NO….It was like a child’s cooldrink and came with a piece of orange. Sorry, but BIG IF, I come back, nobody but Rei will make my drinks.read more

Came back again for the third time in as many weeks. Had the sliders with beef burgers and pulled pork burgers. Out of… this world. Also tried the saddlebag chicken bites. Wow. Great service, great vibe and great prices. Once again Julia’s service was friendly, professional and on point.read more

I’ve only been here twice. The service has been shoddy both times. The first time I got seated and waited about half… hour for someone to come and assist me to where I got up and ordered for myself at the bar and went to go sit in front where the waiters are standing. Second time same story but no one ever pitched for any assistance. The food was good and the experience is good but it’s extremely off putting when there is no service.read more

It’s predominantly white/boere establishment but has a nice atmosphere. I didn’t feel like I stood out like a sore… thumb as a black person 😂. The Waiters are mostly black. Service was great. Food was lovely 🤩. And please read the house rules😂… I found them to be quite funny 🤣read more
