The Restaurant is very modernised and nice, more to mention the great service received from Keshia.She was very nice and always engaging with us by checking up on us if we’re still doing fine and always checked if we needed anything.Hennies is a place to visit, we highly recommend it to everyone and friends💟.
I had a wonderful experience at Hennie’s the food is good and the service was amazing. Especially Bernize really know how to make a person feel very welcome and her customer service is great. I would recommend any one to come and try this amazing place.
Great food, great atmosphere, Managers on duty take good care of all the tables and the waiters are awesome and super friendly. Toilets are very clean as well as the restaurant. Mr. DC also made turns at the tables and personally greeted is and made us feel welcome. The meal portions was decent size and well priced. Well done Hennie’s

Overall a great experience. Food is delicious and not too expensive. Drinks are always cold and service from both Lesego and management is brilliant. An absolute must for anyone in the area!

I had such a wonderful experience thanks to Joshua at Hennie’s Kimberley. From the moment we arrived, his warm personality and genuine friendliness stood out immediately. He has this natural ability to make you feel welcome and completely at ease, like you’re not just another customer but someone he truly cares about.What impressed me most was his attentiveness and eagerness to make sure everything was just right. Joshua goes above and beyond to fulfill your needs without ever making it feel forced or rushed. He pays attention to the little details, checks in at the perfect moments, and always does so with a kind smile and positive energy.His kindness and professionalism really elevate the whole experience, and it’s clear he takes pride in what he does. Service like his is rare to come by, and it truly made our visit memorable. Joshua is an absolute gem, and I would gladly return just for the experience he provides.
They’re still doing it by the book here. Whistles and all. If you’re not going for a good time or lack a sense of humour this is not the place for you.
It was a good experience. @Joyner was our waiter for the day great service from him, good recommendations, made sure we were good all the time. @Thato also was of great service to us, welcomed us in and checked on us.All in all good experience.The smoking was ABIT too much but other than that good all around.I recommend you let people know of the smoking areas beforehand.

Poor service. Arrived at Hennies. No one recieving guestsSat at a table waiting for service. After 15 min my wife went in and asked to be served. Waited another 5 with no service then left to Horseshoe where we were seated and served in 5 min time. Hennies please wake up.
Very nice place, bring your family and enjoy the food. Staff is friendly and management is always available to assist if need be. Oh, don’t forget the rules, especially rule #1!
Hennie’s has crafted a consistent experience across its franchise sites. Kimberly continues to maintain the standard you expect from them. The servers are friendly and quick to assist. Managers are hands on and engaging ensuring patrons are getting the best experience.I would go back again and would recommend

I had an amazing experience at Hennies because of Burnie, she was so attentive, friendly, creative and overall her service was the best and because of that I think I’ll be a regular ❤️🥹 give her a raise !!!

The food arrived cold , drinks were very disappointing. The service was horrendous. Don’t understand how do you have two waiters that should over look the entire outside area? Meanwhile there was a gazillion of them waiting outside doing absolutely NOTHING. Also? My drink was half full and I was told that is the standard of how that particular drink should be served but when I looked to the other table some lady’s glass was filled to the brim. Extremely disappointing. Even the bill took forever to come. Don’t know if trees were still being cut to make the printing paper for the bill. Thanks for the horrible service.🥰
Henny’s, Kimberley – A Masterclass in How Not to Serve a BurgerAh, Monday night in Kimberley. The town is alive, the restaurant is packed with at least 50 people, and yet… I can’t order a pizza. Why? Because apparently, Monday means no pizza for you! Someone, somewhere, decided that the kitchen should be half-closed on one of the busiest nights of the week. Brilliant.But hey, there’s a special on the beef burger. Surely, that’s a safe bet? Nope. Because your normal chef is off for the night, and I assume his replacement was found wandering in from the street. The result? A burger so dry it makes the Kalahari look like a tropical paradise. The bun is toasted to perfection—if perfection means zero sauce and the texture of sawdust. And those chips? Oven-baked, lifeless, and probably microwaved to “golden disappointment.”Now, the locals don’t seem to know any better—or maybe they just don’t have an alternative. Because if this is what passes for a Monday night meal, I have questions. Do they not deserve actual food? Or has everyone just collectively given up?If you’re going to call something a special, at least put in special effort. Instead, I got a half-hearted attempt at a meal that suggests you either ran out of ingredients or interest. And while we’re at it, why is the pizza menu closed? Your kitchen is clearly working—just not well.Final Verdict: 1/10 – I’d rather eat my own disappointment.
Amazing Hennies run by a passionate, hands-on manager (Shaun). T-bone steak with pepper sauce was super tasty. Staff are friendly and there is a great atmosphere around the restaurant 👌🏻 Will definitely be back when I am next in Kimberley.
A lively spot to chill, eat, and drink. Would definitely go again to try out many of their other offerings on the menu.
The kids and I wanted to drink a quick beer, but was told at 20h42 at the door of a half full Hennie`s that you are already closed??? What happened to closing at 22h00?? Clearly Hennies don`t need the business, funny how older establishments do. Be careful to chase away to much clients, next year Hennies will also be just another older establishment.Overall your food are awesome, your service is average and your beer are cold. At moments you have a brilliant atmosphere, especially when the Hennies song is played…But i will rather be a welcome client at an older establishment than a unwelcome and shown away client at a new establishment. New broom always cleans better for the first 6 months.I would like to thank Horseshoe Restaurant for not only welcoming us but also serving us and not showing us away.
Bad experience on Friday evening at 08:00 for supper.Had to replace 2 of 3 Varkie bakkies, meat was off. Smelling and tasting nasty. 1 x rump steak was extremely “taai”. Colleague struggled to cut it, left third of it on plate. Pap en kaaiings was a joke. Just small pieces of fat, no crisp skin or meat ! Will not visit again, sorry

What an amazing experience, Kimberley needed this. This is the best spot in town. I have not had good experiences at other restaurants except the Heights and here. Shauwn is an amazing host. What a fun experience!.

Had a lunch get-together with a friend. Ordered the Buffalo Wings platter to share. Absolutely delicious 👌 Waitress super friendly. Sat outside and it was lovely.
Had the best time, best food and best service! Will be enjoying Hennie’s for our weekly date night from now on!
