Wow whole Hennies looks way better than the ones in Gauteng. Some of the branches here can go learn a thing or two of how a Hennies branch can look. Amazing Secunda keep up the good work. Hilda was our 5 star server.
Had breakfast after the Secunda Parkrun, and watched the 10:43 Springbok victory over the All Black’s.Reuntjie breakfast was excellent, and great service.Thank you
Hilda’s professionalism is amazing. She brought light to our table with her beautiful smile. Hilda looked after us so well as if she had known us before. She’s very friendly. She deserves a gold medal. Thank you Hennies. We’ll come back again.
We had desert at Hennie’s. Milkshake was of poor quality and almost watery. The malva pudding was warm, but the custard was cold and watery. The cookies and cream ice cream okay. We also ordered a plate of chips, which was undercooked and they prepared another plate, which was slightly better. 😬Overall a disappointing experience. Will not return.

What an amazing experience. From the moment we stepped inside, we felt welcomed. Our first beer took a while but the waiter at least explained that they had to change kegs. The manager and who i presume the owner checked in multiple times to see if all is in order and even cracked a few jokes. The poot is something to experience and the loaded fries is to die for. Will definitely be back.
This was a nice experience walking here. It is also a pet friendly place. You have a choice of different restaurants. There are small shops. I love the art shop. They also offer classes. I bought a nice handba here as well. It is such a nice relaxing place just to enjoy the day.

The atmosphere at Hennie’s Restaurant is lovely, with delicious aromas wafting through the air that are simply irresistible.We were served by Randy, what a gem! She’s incredibly knowledgeable and knows all 10 rules by heart! She had us laughing from start to finish.Our food was cooked to perfection! You get exactly what you order, and their house sauces are so tempting you can’t resist buying some!The restaurant as well as the bathrooms are spotless! I particularly love the “Angel Shot” idea 👌 We didn’t get to experience the full glory of the place since it was morning, but I can tell this is one of those spots where you’d struggle to leave once it gets buzzing. I can already picture the whole place erupting in laughter if someone drinks with their right hand, forgets to tip, or has the courage to “Ring the bell” 😂 Oh, man, I hope we see this in all its glory someday. If we ever visit Secunda again, Hennie’s will definitely be on our dining list.Rule number one… “Don’t be a 📦” Well done, guys! Had to edit my review down from 5 stars. Not child friendly. Smoking area is not within control of children play area. So the kids can play in play area and parents can sit in smoking area, but there’s no way for the parents to keep an eye and kids, that aren’t allowed into smoking area and they are far apart. Logistically not safe for kids. All the places next door have a solution. Go learn something
Service was not what it should have been. Food was average, food order came out wrong as well. Waiting staff did not really look like they know what was going on. The kiddies area contains 1 broken puzzle, 3 broken crayons and no pictures to colour with the 3 broken crayons, a container with a few balls and some video-games. Hard not to be a doos when it’s the first time there and this was your experience. Very much disappointed.
Normally, service is mediocre. Today, it was quiet, yet I sat and waited to place an order after they seated me. No one served me, no drinks or anything, so I woke up and left after 20 minutes. I won’t be back for a long time since my time and money doesn’t matter to you.Lucky MooMoo’s was tastier with excellent service.

You can find a good meal elsewhere in town without smelling like a caveman after!We recently selected to host a birthday dinner at Hennie’s Secunda. The company was excellent, the staff cordial, attentive and keen. Our meal was tasty and value for the money charged. However, if one adds to the bill the cost off dry-cleaning that followed, it became a VERY EXPENSIVE exercise. Hennie’s operates two open hearths for heating and atmosphere, but without adequate ventilation. It appears that the hearts were fired with wood that had not dried out and produced more smoke than heat and a blue smoke grotto-like atmosphere. Open pit fires burning poor quality wood and without adequate ventilation leads to dry-cleaning bills that Hennie’s sure as day wouldn’t pay. Think twice or rather just go in summer. Or to have a caveman experience.
Friendly service, great vibe and music and good food at reasonable prices. What more can you ask for? Hennie’s does it every time and Secunda branch is no exception. Hennie’s is the new Spur or Dros on steroids. Have a something naughty and enjoy the vibe!
Been to a few Hennies around SA, and must say that this venue in Nelspruit are unique. Love the deck outside where you can hear the stream run right next to it. Ample parking and a good play area for the kids. The staff was the most warming people and twisted my arm to enjoy more cocktails. The food was good as well. This store can’t get any better. They on a role.

Very friendly stuff with very good service. The quality of the good is amazing. There is also fun added to the excellent service. The one rule is one must always use the left had to hold his or her glass when drinking and if you are caught with your right it’s a warning card and if caught again for the second time, you have to down your drink (drink and finish it once). That’s brings about fun especially when you are a group of buddies.

Was dissappointed with our chicken wings, we ordered 24 but got 16. Were told that it was because they were bigger than normal. How are we supposed to know what size wings you have? The flavour was great though.
I was there with my wife and young kids to enjoy a family outing. I must say food and atmosphere was great, but I please want to ask you to feed your bouncer. He was staring the whole time at us while we were eating. It made us feel uncomfortable, and we left. It might have just been a bad day for the bouncer but it made our experience unpleasant.
Brilliant experience! Wonderful to see a new brand being built in SA which raises the standards of the franchise Pub & Restaurant industry.We will be going there again today, except it will be at the Witbank Hennies with my clean parents;).
Food was absolutely delicious. Portions are great for prices.Our waitress was a bit of a challenge…. She didn’t put our dessert order in and we had to eventually leave.Flies were troubling us while we eating and the aircons weren’t working.
I enjoyed my visit here. The food was good. The service was good. There’s a nice playground area inside for small children. There was a lady supervising and entertaining the children whilst playing. The tables were clean, however as expected it was quite noisy. However we still had a great time. I would definitely visit them again.

Went there on Friday 24 November from 11:00am – 14:00pm. There were only 3 waiters available and we were two groups of people with year-end bookings. The waiter was in a difficult situation as we wanted individual billing. The drinks took very long and it was very noisy / loud. Not a very pleasant experience.

The foof is VERY lekker will gow back again to eat there. The food didn’t take long at all. There is more than enough space for every person that’s going there. You can ask any waiter to help you. I like the idea of the waiters using tables to take orders it works better for me and looks more professional. The amount of food that you are getting is more then what you pay for.I am so glad that we have one in Secunda now🥳🥳

Was at Hennies today. Food was average. I had better at other Restaurants. I had the crumb pork chops. Firstly they didn’t have mash as advertised. The crumb was so hard when you cut the chop it jumps out of your plate and after eating the first chop I noticed that it cut my gum. As for no mash I choosed a Kant Happie which was veggies and that was normal rhat you can get from any restaurant, nothing wow about it. The pork comes with a complementary coke or Schweppes which I had to ask twice for. Atmosphere was good and dining outside excellent but that you can get from other restaurants on the banks of Lake Umuzi. So will I vist again. Not sure. Maybe for a beer.
Exceptional service, friendly staff and incredible food. Had a lovely time eating here and would certainly recommend it to anyone wanting a great restaurant with a fun atmosphere!

We’ve been to many different Hennie’s and we’re very excited about the opening of one in Secunda. Waited 45min for my husband’s drink, they got all the orders wrong and brought some food 15min later then the other! It was so disappointing 😞
