From taking our order to serving our order, her smile hugged us all the way thank you Nicole. Vibe is good, service was impeccable and overall a really nice place. We visited Hennie’s Mossel Bay on a Saturday night and were a bit surprised by how early everything wrapped up. The… kitchen closed just after 8pm and last rounds were called around 9pm, which felt quite early compared to other Hennie’s branches we’ve visited.The restaurant was also very quiet for a Saturday evening and it felt like things were winding down quickly, almost as if they were rushing to close.The food itself was okay and we had a few pizzas, which were decent enough, but overall the experience felt fairly average. Hopefully just an off night as we’ve had better experiences at other Hennie’s locations.Beer on tap was cold and they had a good selection.read more
We are regular customers at Hennies and usually enjoy our visits, but this branch in Mossel Bay was honestly a big… disappointment. We understand that it is December and that the restaurant is under pressure, and we did wait a very long time for our food, but this kitchen clearly cannot handle the demand. The food was terrible. We ordered the loaded fries, which we have had many times before, but as evident from the photo, it was completely unacceptable. There was no sauce over the chips, the chips were hard and cold, and the grated cheese was hard instead of melted. We do not inform the waitress of the bad quality as it was chaotic and did not want to wait another hour. Based on this experience, I would definitely not recommend this Hennies, especially during the festive season. The drinks and the view however was good.read more

His service was friendly, attentive, and full of personality — he genuinely went above and beyond to make our meal special.Worsie has that rare combination of professionalism and fun, and it really added to the atmosphere. This is the first time I have visited a Hennie’s.I was driving from Gaansbai over to Knysna and decided to stop for… something to eat.Parking spaces are covered, so the car remains cooler in the shade.I ordered the burger and some fries.As I was driving, with still a few hours left until the next stop, chose an ice-cold coke and enjoyed looking out from the window upon the bay.What a view!The burger was tasty and I tried the branded peri-peri and chilli sauce.I thought that the sauces tasted better than the Nando’s versions that I was familiar with in the UK, from their restaurants, and the UK supermarkets that stock multiple Nando’s sauces on the shelves.The menu mentioned that Windhoek in Namibia was their first international outlet. I’ll be sure to check that branch out in 2026 when I pass through that way.The service was good but I didn’t remember her name to thank her here.read more

I am a big fan of Hennies and enjoy the atmosphere. Unfortunately we had a very bad time at this Hennies. Our waitress… was very rude. When she brought our drinks she only but it down on the side of the table and walked away. After having 2 of the drink orders wrong. Every time she passed our table and we got her attention she would just say I’m coming and disappear for another 10min. She never came around to ask us if we want anything else to drink. I ordered “wiele met n W” 8 pizza rolls. When we got our food. The pizza rolls was so small and half done that the waitress apologized and immediately told me there is another batch on the way.. We got to hennies at 11 to eat brunch. We only received our food at 1 due to our bad service.read more

Went on a Wednesday for the pizza special,… just as we want to order the waiter said there is no specials over the festive season and menu variety was also smaller. Things like this should be explained to the customers before they are seated. Hennies Kimberley Northern Cape much better service and food.read more
