Went there with my parents to celebrate me getting my learners. The atmosphere was lively and the waiter was very attentive and engaging. The food and drinks were brilliant, would definitely recommend the chicken burger/ chicken snitchel ,the portions are HUGE!
Very nice restaurant with a warm family atmosphere… Staff and management are very friendly and I felt right at home. This was my first experience at this particular Hennies and I was very impressed with the overall experience… A must stop when in the area!!! Come and join the family and warm hospitality.

Ordered chicken schnitzel online. Received 2 pieces, a small creamed spinach and a small tub of cheese sauce. NO CHIPS.. Every restaurant in SA, except Hennies. R194 for this meal. Disgraceful is all I have to say. Once bitten, twice shy as they say

We had the BEST time at Hennie’s in Northmead Square! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was amazing – relaxed, fun and full of good energy.A huge shoutout to Andrew, who walked up to our table with the warmest welcome and made us feel right at home. And Ashlee… wow. Hands down the best waitress ever! Super attentive, friendly and somehow still smiling after I managed to spill tomato sauce all over the window (don’t ask… 😂).The food? Absolutely delicious. Every bite was packed with flavour and the portions were just right. The atmosphere was everything we needed – upbeat, inviting and perfect for a great lunch. We’ll definitely be back! 🙌
We had such a great time at Hennie’s in Northmead Square! The atmosphere was on point – chilled but lively, the kind of place you just don’t want to leave. Special thanks to Andrew, who came over to welcome us so warmly – it really set the tone for our lunch.And wow, Ashlee was honestly the best waitress we could’ve asked for! So patient, friendly, and handled everything like a pro… even when my friend (you know who you are 😅) managed to fling tomato sauce all over the window. Don’t even ask how – we’re still laughing about it.The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-tier. 10/10, we’ll definitely be back again soon!

I ate some wings and drank some drinks , Salem was my waiter for the day and the service was amazing as always ….. definitely 10/10
I arrived at 19:30 . Manager was friendly and helpful, waiter on the other hand was dis- interested and rude. Gave me a sticky table and disappeared completely. Sat down and waiting nearly 22 min before asking the nearest waiter to my table for service. One of my friends spilled a drink and i asked for a cloth to clean my table, and it took the waiter nearly 10 min to accommodate me. Hennies Benoni needs serious attention, and fast ,im very unhappy and they won’t see me again
We gave Hennie’s a try recently and were pleasantly surprised.Initially, we were thinking bar so bar food, but the menu has so much variety. It’s enough to get your mouth watering.It took us a while until we finally decided on what to eat. I must have changed my mind at least 5 times.I ended up ordering a Louise burger and an oreo milkshake. The burger was our waitress’ recommendation, and it was so good. Their beef patties are so good and juicy (like it’s home-made).Their menu is fun, and I love the house rules.Overall, it’s a great vibe, I’m sure in the evenings, it’s an even better vibe.
Always a great experience. Palesa has served me a number of times and she is just a shining light of happiness and friendliness. Abram, the manager, is so on the ball and always happy to help with a friendly smile. Food and drinks are always good. Definitely my favourite local spot!

I go to Northmead Square Hennies x it has such a wonderful vibe and the staff are superb and professional. Our team is called Time and Money and we go every second week to quiz and have a fun time. Thank you Max . I would just like to say the service I received from Abram and Angelique yesterday was amazing . Our table was set just as I requested as we have two ladies of 81 and need back rests . I even received an email and phone call from Abram to ask about our requirement. My vote for employees of the month is definitely Abram and Angelique. Thank you and the cappuccino is yummy 😋

I’ve been here twice and I’m going there again alone for those buffalo wings !! The portion is so big I love it ! I love their sauces also 👌 I only ever order wings 🥰. The service is always great, their waiters are friendly and attentive and their rules are unique and fun. And the buffalo wings are the best !
We have been many times to hennies always love it with good service. Today was shocking service .Food was ok would not rave about it but it was our choice off the menu.Will think twice before going again.So sad as it was always our best friday lunch and drink place.🥲
We enjoyed a few hours at Hennies, primarily to watch the Boks take on the Kiwis. The packed restaurant was absolutely pumping, and people were clearly enjoying the experience. Adding to the vibe were waitrons showing red or yellow cards to people who dared to drink with their right hand. The penalty was to down your drink. (Not enforced) but good for a laugh. The food was from a typical pub type restaurant, and there is room for improvement there. I ordered a portion of Chicken strips and received the order promptly. The portions were a decent size and the pricing comfortable. The strips were a bit overdone, but still enjoyable. (I was damn hungry)I would definitely go again, it’s a very good venue to watch sport in a vibey atmosphere.

Firstly it was undercooked (still doughy ) it was “re-cooked” but still had the same result. Would come back to try something else but definitely not the pizza. Please look into how you present this item of food along with how it is cooked.
The mash could have used salt and pepper + some nut meg and the gravy and there were two side that they got wrong but they fixed it and we could have the original sides but besides this it was a wonderful experience great service and the staff I very kind and thoughtful they really made me enjoy the dine.

It was our first time visiting a Hennies restaurant. The lady at the front desk where we purchased our T-shirts was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the atmosphere very much! We were served by Victor and he is well spoken, friendly and an excellent waiter.Our orders was spot on and we were very satisfied with the food. Prices are great! Just loved everything and you cannot compare Hennies with the usual chain restaurants. Great experience and great place, will most definitely visit Hennies again. Atmosphere is hallow, music too loud and it echoes. Hennies Benoni is not comfortable. The steak we ordered was medium, yet it came well done. We spoke to the manager who took our plates and rectified to medium. We also asked the lettuce in green salad to be fresh, that was old. When the plates came back, steak was good but salad not, thus why he left it. We won’t be going back, not impressed at all.
Gugu is an absolute awesome waitress and made sure we enjoyed our very first Hennie’s experience in Benoni 🍻🤪💕 will definitely come back !
The food is amazing, but the kitchen was a bit slow with the milkshakes. Kiddies’ play area can do with an upgrade or some activities, at least, as there is just one video game and a bouncing ball machine. So there’s not much for them to do. Will definitely be a regular spot for us though.
We went to Hennies for a birthday lunch. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the service was excellent. The food and drinks arrived very quickly. Our server Gugu was very welcoming and friendly, she made us feel very comfortable and we shared a few laughs with her. We really enjoyed our stay. Overall we would definitely come back for the food and the great service.
We had a great time. Linda was our waiter and he did an amazing job. We highly recommend Hennie’s. We are from Scotland and it would be great to have a Hennie’s in Scotland. Thanks again! 😊When we are back in SA we will definitely be visiting Hennies again!
Fabulous food and service. It was my first dining experience at Hennies, Northmead Mall. A well run establishment under the leadership of Roelof. Our waiter Victor was excellent. The service was prompt and efficient. Detail that impressed me: he remembered our order and placed the correct plate without asking, plates were cleared quickly, when glasses were low he was there to bring another round. Bringing toothpicks after dinner without us having to ask. He clearly observed his tables and anticipated his clients needs with us having to ask. This level of service is rare. I can go on. They will definitely see me again. Thank you
Half price Wednesday special for pizzas and cocktail drinks. High and low tables. Good sized thin base pizza for approx R73 depending on your choice of pizza. Remember to hold your drink with the left hand 🙃 Woof!

We’ve been a few times and while we have noticed a slight dip in service during busy times (hence only 4 stars), most of our visits have been in the afternoons and I cannot fault them at all.Generally service is good.Atmosphere is greatFood is excellent.The theme and rules are novel and a lot of fun. We’ll be back, over and over again.
We had booked a table for 5 people at 19h00. 3 of us arrived early and got shown a 4 seater table, when we said that we needed an additional seat as we booked for 5 people, it was highly inconvenient that they needed to find another table for us. Nevertheless we got a bigger table. The rest of the party arrived around 19h20. Did the pleasantries and then ordered some drinks. Ordered some starters not long after that.We carried on with the night, drinking and chatting. Decided to order some mains to eat around 20h30, to then be told that the kitchen closed at 20h00 and we can’t order any food. This was not communicated anywhere or by anyone. Nevermind that the restaurant is full and people are still coming in and being seated with menus long after the kitchen was “closed”. The staff seem to have a weird attitude which makes the atmosphere uncomfortable.This made of first experience at this branch unpleasant and we won’t be going back.
Recently opened and the place was packed. First visit was on their opening week and recent visit was a month later.Menu offer a good selection with some really good weekly specials. Food is of really good quality and the kitchen is fast.The atmosphere is lively and loud with plenty of laughs. Learn to drink with your left hand…..Lots of friendly service, give them a try.

We were told at 21:45 it is last round only when we wanted to order again! Their hours says 11pm! Service is very poor! This Hennies will give the rest a bad name! Luckily for us we know Boksburg is awesome!!!

Some of the best food I’ve had in a long time and portion size was incredible, truly making the food very affordable. The waitress we had was very active and friendly with a big smile and she introduced herself very politely as Doris. Incredible atmosphere and an overall amazing experience with great drinks and drink options. They have a smoking and non smokers area. A must visit for the entire family
Service is not good. Woman at front desk has a bad attitude. Waiters no where to be found when you call them. Waited 30min + for a Milkshake. Would recommend different Hennie’s this one not as good as the other I visited.
Very unpleasant service. Other Hennie’s closes on Sunday at 5pm…this one at 3pm. Came for lunch around 2 and they told us the kitchen is closed. If this is the case, I’d rather go to a different Hennie’s because they are clearly better. Not what I expected from a Hennie’s.

We were told at 21:45 it is last round only when we wanted to order again! Their hours says 11pm! Service is very poor! This Hennies will give the rest a bad name! Luckily for us we know Boksburg is awesome!!!
Our waiter Jose was super efficient and friendly. The manager Roelof went above and beyond to cater for a serious allergy. This is our new favorite place. Love it! The Hammans
Some of the best food I’ve had in a long time and portion size was incredible, truly making the food very affordable. The waitress we had was very active and friendly with a big smile and she introduced herself very politely as Doris. Incredible atmosphere and an overall amazing experience with great drinks and drink options. They have a smoking and non smokers area. A must visit for the entire family
Service is not good. Woman at front desk has a bad attitude. Waiters no where to be found when you call them. Waited 30min + for a Milkshake. Would recommend different Hennie’s this one not as good as the other I visited.
Very unpleasant service. Other Hennie’s closes on Sunday at 5pm…this one at 3pm. Came for lunch around 2 and they told us the kitchen is closed. If this is the case, I’d rather go to a different Hennie’s because they are clearly better. Not what I expected from a Hennie’s.
