This Hennie’s Father’s Day Competition brought to you by HOND Lager is offered subject to the terms and conditions set out below “Terms and Conditions”.
Who can enter
Entry is only available to residents of South Africa who are aged 18 years or older.
Because it’s a HOND Lager sponsored competition, the winner should be above 18 years old.
Employees, officers and contractors (and their Immediate Families) of Hennie’s Head Office or any Hennie’s restaurant or the agencies or companies associated with this Promotion are ineligible.
How to Enter
Entrants must download the Hennie’s App (“the App”) onto their electronic device (Huawei stores will not be able to enter).
Entrants must purchase a HOND Lager Draught from 1 June 2024 to 17 June 2024 untill 23h59 (17 June included) from one of the participating Hennie’s Franchises (all Hennie’s actively trading at that time), complete the online entry on the App and fill in all required fields.
Only entries completed through the App will be taken into consideration.
Winner drawn by 19 June 2024 from a randomized draw on the App.
The Prize
The prize includes
2 x MBRK electric scooters Branded HOND as advertised.
Terms and Conditions
The Prize is available for use only by South African residents over the age of 18.
Notification and claiming the Prize. Following the Prize draw, the winner will be notified using the contact details provided by the Entrant via telephone. The winning Entrant has 24 hours from the time and date of the notification being sent to respond and acknowledge receipt of the winning of the prize by replying with its proof of Identity per email
If the Prize is not claimed by the winning Entrant within this time frame, the Prize will be redrawn, and any previous winners will forgo all claims to the Prize.
The prize cannot be exchanged for cash / voucher. Hennie’s does not take any responsibility for any injuries sustained by the entrant / any other person using the prize at any point in time. Nor does Hennie’s give any warranty as to the condition of the prize. Hennie’s however did purchase the prize new and not used.
The Prize is not transferable, exchangeable, replaceable, or refundable for cash or credit and can only be used as specified. However the winner can do with the prize (two scooters) as it pleases, however the prize is intended for a daughter or son to give 1 scooter to its Father.
Terms and conditions of this offer are as written and cannot be changed by any representation of any unauthorized person, including employees of Hennie’s Sports Bar (Pty) Ltd or its subsidiaries.
The Prize is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limit, exclude or modify or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees, as well as any other implied warranties under the consumer protection laws in the Republic of South Africa (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, Hennies Sports Bar (Pty) Ltd (including its respective franchises, officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Competition.
Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, Hennies Sports Bar (Pty) Ltd (including its respective Franchises, officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under Hennies Sports Bar (Pty) Ltd’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by Hennies Sports Bar (Pty) Ltd) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of Hennies Sports Bar (Pty) Ltd; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.
Hennies Sports Bar (Pty) Ltd collects claimants’/entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion.
If the information requested is not provided, the claimant/entrant may not be able to participate in the promotion. Hennies Sports Bar (Pty) Ltd will not disclose this information to anyone other than contractors who provide services to Hennies Sports Bar (Pty) Ltd for the purposes of conducting this promotion unless compelled or permitted by law.
Entrants’ personal information may be disclosed, and the winners’ names published on Hennie’s social media platform, website and other ancillary forums. As per the relevant Privacy Legislation, a request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Privacy Officer of Hennies Sports Bar (Pty) Ltd.
